TERMS & CONDITIONS OF NETBET UGANDA FINAL


1. Introduction

1.1 Purpose of these Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the contractual relationship between you (“Client”, “Customer”, “User”) and Netbet Co Uganda (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) regarding your use of our online sports betting and online casino gaming services.

1.2 Binding Agreement

By registering an account, placing a bet, depositing funds, withdrawing funds, participating in promotions, or accessing any part of the Netbet Uganda website at www.netbetug.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Services.

1.3 Amendments

Netbet Uganda may amend these Terms at any time. Updates will take effect immediately upon publication on the Website. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • “Netbet Uganda” refers to Netbet Co Ltd, a licensed gaming operator in Uganda.
  • “Customer” / “Client” / “User” means any person who opens and uses a Netbet Uganda account.
  • “NLGRB” means the National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board of Uganda.
  • “Services” refers to online sports betting, live betting, virtual sports, casino games, live casino, crash games, instant games, and any related digital products provided by Netbet Uganda.
  • “Account” means a personal betting account registered with the Company.
  • “PSP” refers to Payment Service Providers such as MTN, Airtel, banks, and card processors.
  • “RNG” refers to Random Number Generator systems used for casino games to ensure fairness.
  • “Maximum Payout” means the highest amount payable per bet: 200,000,000 UGX.
  • “Minimum Stake” means the lowest bet amount permitted: 500 UGX.


3. Eligibility Requirements

3.1 Minimum Age

You must be at least 25 years old to use any betting or gaming services on Netbet Uganda.

3.2 Legal Capacity

You must have the legal capacity required to enter into a binding agreement.

3.3 Restricted Persons

You are not permitted to create an account or place bets if you are:

  • A sportsperson, coach, referee, or official involved in events on which betting is offered
  • An employee or contractor of Netbet Uganda
  • A person prohibited by Ugandan law from gambling
  • Located in a jurisdiction where online gambling is restricted or illegal

3.4 Compliance Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with all applicable laws.


4. Account Registration

4.1 Registration Process

To use the Services, you must create an account by providing accurate personal information.

4.2 Required Information

Customers must provide:

  • Full legal name
  • Date of birth
  • Active phone number
  • National identification number
  • Physical address
  • Any additional information required for regulatory compliance

4.3 Verification Documents (KYC)

Acceptable identification documents include:

  • National ID (NIN)
  • Passport

4.4 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information. Any activity conducted through your account will be considered your responsibility.

4.5 One-Account Policy

You may hold only one account with Netbet Uganda. Duplicate accounts may be suspended, and winnings voided.

4.6 Updating Details

You must keep your personal information accurate and up-to-date.


5. Identity Verification & Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

5.1 Verification Rights

Netbet Uganda may request identification documents at any time to verify your identity.

5.2 AML Compliance

We comply with Uganda’s Anti-Money Laundering Act and must verify customer identities, transaction legitimacy, and sources of funds.

5.3 Document Requests

Customers may be required to provide:

  • Valid photo ID
  • Selfie verification
  • Proof of address
  • Proof of payment ownership
  • Source of funds documentation

5.4 Failure to Verify

Failure to comply with verification requests may result in:

  • Account suspension
  • Voiding of bets
  • Withholding of funds
  • Reporting to relevant authorities


6. Deposits & Withdrawals

6.1 Payment Methods

Netbet Uganda supports the following payment options:

  • MTN Mobile Money
  • Airtel Money
  • Card Payments

6.2 Deposits

  • Minimum deposit: UGX 1,000
  • Deposits must originate from payment accounts registered in your name.

6.3 Withdrawals

Withdrawals will be sent to the same payment method used for deposit unless otherwise approved.

6.4 Processing Times

  • Withdrawals are processed instantly, subject to system availability and verification.

6.5 Withdrawal Limits

  • Daily withdrawal limit: UGX 10,000,000 via mobile money
  • Higher amounts may be processed at the company’s office upon verification.

6.6 Taxes

Customers are responsible for all applicable Ugandan taxes, including withholding tax on winnings.

6.7 No Third-Party Payments

Deposits and withdrawals must be made from accounts owned by the customer.

6.8 Chargebacks

Unlawful chargebacks will result in account termination and may be reported to authorities.

6.9 Minimum Stake

The minimum bet amount is 100 UGX.

6.10 No Credit Betting

Netbet Uganda does not offer betting on credit.


7. Account Use, Suspension & Closure

7.1 Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Personally operate their account
  • Never share access with others
  • Keep their details accurate

7.2 Dormant Accounts

Accounts inactive for 12 months may be marked dormant.

7.3 Suspensions

Accounts may be suspended if suspicious activity is detected.

7.4 Closure by Company

Netbet Uganda may close an account if:

  • Fraud is detected
  • Match fixing is suspected
  • Regulatory directives require closure
  • Chargeback abuse occurs

7.5 Customer-Initiated Closure

You may close your account at any time by contacting customer support.

7.6 Funds on Closure

Balances may be returned if no fraudulent activity is detected.


8. Prohibited Activities

Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:

  • Multiple accounts
  • Bonus abuse
  • Automated betting or bot usage
  • Collusion
  • VPN or location masking
  • Insider betting
  • Match fixing
  • Money laundering
  • Identity fraud
  • Court siding

Netbet Uganda may void bets and seize funds in cases of prohibited conduct.


9. Betting Rules

9.1 Bet Acceptance

A bet is confirmed only when it appears in your bet history.

9.2 Minimum Stake

Minimum bet per selection: 100 UGX

9.3 Maximum Payout

Maximum winnings per customer per bet: 200,000,000 UGX. This applies to sports betting

Maximum Winnings on casino games is 100,000,000 UGX

Any amount exceeding this will be adjusted to the maximum payout limit.

9.4 Errors

Bets resulting from human or technical errors may be voided.

9.5 Cancellations

Bet cancellations requested by customers cannot be guaranteed once a bet is confirmed.

9.6 Odds & Markets

Odds may change at any time prior to confirmation.


10. Sports Betting Rules

10.1 General

Sports bets adhere to:

  • These Terms
  • International betting settlement standards
  • Official federation results

10.2 Pre-Match Betting

Bets must be placed before the event starts.

10.3 Live Betting

Live betting is offered on selected events.

10.4 Virtual Sports

Virtual sports are available for betting.

10.5 Jackpots

Jackpot betting is available. Jackpot-specific rules may apply.

10.6 Cash-Out

A cash-out option is offered where available. Cash-out values are not guaranteed and may change based on live conditions.

10.7 Official Results

Official governing body results will determine the settlement.

10.8 Postponed Matches

Events postponed for more than 48 hours may be voided unless otherwise stated.

12. Errors & System Malfunctions

Netbet Uganda may void bets affected by:

  • Incorrect odds
  • System outages
  • Software malfunctions
  • Delayed or inaccurate data feeds

Funds credited in error must be returned.


13. Bonuses & Promotions

13.1 General Rules

All bonuses are subject to these Terms and to specific promotional conditions.

13.2 Wagering Requirements

Bonus funds must meet the stated wagering requirements before withdrawal.

Customers may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or scrape any content from the Website without written approval.


16. Privacy & Data Protection

Netbet Uganda operates a separate Privacy Policy, which governs:

  • Personal data collection
  • Data usage
  • Data sharing
  • Cookies
  • Security protocols
  • Customer rights under Ugandan law

Customers must review the Privacy Policy for full details.


17. Taxation

Ugandan tax regulations require withholding tax on winnings.

Customers are responsible for any additional tax obligations under the Income Tax Act.


18. Publicity

Netbet Uganda may request permission to use a winner’s:

  • Name
  • Photo
  • Nickname
  • Video
  • Likeness

Customers may decline publicity.


19. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

19.1 Filing a Complaint

19.2 Internal Process

Netbet Uganda will review complaints and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

19.3 Escalation

If not resolved, you may escalate the dispute to the National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (NLGRB).


20. Limitation of Liability

Netbet Uganda is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Loss of profits
  • Network failures
  • Third-party service interruptions
  • Force majeure events

The maximum liability of the Company is limited to the amount of the Customer’s last stake.


21. Severability

If any clause is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.


22. Assignment

Customers may not transfer their rights or obligations under these Terms.

Netbet Uganda may assign its rights to another licensed operator with regulatory approval.


23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.

Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Ugandan law and regulatory structure.


24. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Netbet Uganda and supersede all prior communications or agreements.
